error code: 0xE0000227

When attempting to install the Realtek High Definition Audio Driver from the motherboard disk, the install nearly completes then gives the following error message:
Install Realtek HD Audio Driver failure

And when I attempt to uninstall the driver, it gives me the error message:
Failed to uninstall the device. The device may be required to boot up the computer.

The solution is:
  1. open device manager
  2. click "system devices"
  3. disable "microsoft UAA bus driver for high definition audio"
  4. uninstall "UAA bus driver"
  5. install realtek driver
